Can you play Clash of Clans online using your desktop? CoC is an immensely popular game by Supercell and it’s strictly played on mobile devices. But yes, it’s quite possible to take this game to your PC. Some gamers take the game on their PCs because the screen is much larger. Viewing your villages on a tiny screen is cumbersome, after all.

The thing is, not a lot of players are willing to take that risk because playing CoC on the computer is against its Terms of Service. Yes, you can play Clash of Clans online using your computer but it will leave your PC vulnerable to hackers. Worse, your account could be banned permanently by SuperCell.

If say, you’re willing to risk it all for a good CoC sesh, you have to use a third party software to get started. Here’s a step by step guide how:

Choosing the Software

There are several third-party applications you can use to play CoC on your computer. These apps are: ApowerMirror, KO Player, BlueStacks, and Andyroid.

ApowerMirror is a mirror application program suitable for Android and iOS devices. This is a fantastic app if you’re tired of viewing the small images on your smartphone. ApowerMirror is compatible with Windows and MAC PCs too. It also supports full-screen display and offer enhanced controls for better gameplay.

On the other hand, KO Player is an Android emulator, it looks just like an Android mobile interface. From here, you can play CoC as well as import music, pictures and more. It’s a versatile app that works well with Windows and MAC PCs. Best of all, KO Player lets you control the game using the keyboard!

BlueStacks is also an Android emulator that could take your favorite mobile games straight to your PC. BlueStacks is the most popular among these Android emulators because it’s stable. However, all these applications work the same way. Finally there’s the new kid on the block, Andyroid. This app is new but it’s stable and user-friendly too.

Playing CoC Using ApowerMirror

If say, you chose ApowerMirror, here’s a quick tutorial on how to set the app up for mobile gaming:

Step 1: Download the program on your PC. For Android users, install the application on your mobile device.

Step 2: Connect the mobile device to your desktop using a USB cable. Then, wait for the prompt and click “Start Now” on your phone. The controls will appear on your screen. You have to activate the controlling mode and use the WiFi connection to play on the PC.

For iOS devices, just run the software on your computer, tap “AirPlay Mirroring” then choose your computer. From here, you can stream the screen to your desktop.

Playing CoC Using KO Player

Step 1: If you’re a Windows user, just download the KO Player app and log in using your Google account.

Step 2: Install the game or tap “Hot Apps” to download Clash of Clans. Open the App, sign in and use your mouse to play the game.

For iOS users, you have to log in to your Google Play account to play the game after downloading the app. Do note that the gameplay will be a little slow on KO Player, compared to ApowerMirror.

Playing CoC Using BlueStacks

Step 1: Download the BlueStacks app and run the program. Once installation is done, you have to set up the program.

Step 2: Click the orange search button to look for Clash of Clans. Then, log in your Google ID to go to the main menu. Click the Clash of Clans game to install on your PC. After installation, let the program run then CoC’s interface will appear.

Playing CoC Using Android

Step 1: Download the Android app and let the program run on your computer. Once the app starts, you’ll be asked to log in to your Google Play account. Unless you’re a new player, key in your access codes otherwise, create a new profile.

Step 2: Open the Play Store in Android to search for the Clash of Clans game. To play using your existing village, just open your CoC game on your mobile device and head to the Settings. Click “Link to a Device” then choose “This Old Device.” From the Android interface, you can access your village and pick up where you left off.
